IdeaStream is a self-contained, highly secure voice transcription appliance which needs no connection to the internet. There is no processing or transfer of any data of any kind at any time outside of the server itself, or a device that you choose to allow, like your cell phone or PC. Transcription text is delivered to your PC using a process which prevents interception by Windows or other applications. You dictate as usual and the audio is turned into text which can be seamlessly inserted into your existing applications.
